Prior to his appointment, Léo served as Sun Life’s President, ASEAN. Previously, he held the role of Senior Vice-President, Individual Insurance and Wealth (Individual) for Sun Life Canada.
Léo's 20+ years of experience includes 15 years as Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company where he led the insurance practice and consulted with many of Sun Life’s senior leaders and as a member of the management team of Bridgewater Associates, a global hedge fund.
Léo holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a Science Masters in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In his spare time, he is a weekend triathlete who enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife and two boys.
