Sun Life named one of the 2026 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World

For the 17^th consecutive year, Sun Life has earned a spot on the Corporate Knights’ 2026 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World. We ranked first among insurance companies in Canada and represented one of only nine Canadian companies across all sectors.

The Global 100 tracks the sustainability performance of publicly-traded companies with over US$1 billion in gross revenue.

Sun Life included in the 2026 Dow Jones Best-in-Class Index North America

In 2026, for the 20^th consecutive year, Sun Life was included in the Dow Jones Best-in-Class Index North America (DJ BIC North America). The DJ BIC North America tracks the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance of the top 20% of the 600 largest Canadian and U.S. companies that are sustainability leaders. Sun Life is one of only eight North American insurers to be included in the 2026 DJ BIC. This recognition reflects Sun Life’s commitment to being sustainability-driven in everything we do. 

Sun Life named one of Canada’s 2025 Best 50 Corporate Citizens

Corporate Knights has included Sun Life on its list of the Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada for the 20^th time. The 2025 edition places Sun Life second among Canadian insurance industry peers. This recognition highlights our commitment to drive meaningful, positive impact for our Clients, society and the environment every day. Sun Life has appeared on the annual ranking 20 of the 23 years since its inception.
