Journey Designer

Role

Are you a big-picture thinker? Do you enjoy the journey more than the destination? Do you like solving problems through design concepts? Then you could be a Journey Designer.

A Journey Designer's goal is to design seamless and unified end-to-end experiences for our users. That includes mapping out user needs, desires, and pain points. They do this with the help of research insights.

Then, they work with partners from across the business to explore concepts and co-create experiences. The goal is to use service design to remove barriers between the front-end and back-end experiences for our users.

Journey Designers explore, define and design experiences through frameworks such as:

  • competitive scans,
  • service blueprints,
  • journey maps,
  • storyboards, concepts,
  • iterative prototypes and user testing.
